Hi guys,

I have been running the EBC Kevlar pads & Slotted & Dimpled Disks on my Land Rover for a while now and they are great. It's no XR6T, but over 2ton of 4WD driven by a V8, needs to be able to stop pretty good.

Main reason for going EBC was less brake dust as factory stuff was terribly soft and dust was a joke, if you left it on the wheels it actually ate away the paint.

EBC do alot of race stuff, cant be too bad...

Doesnt squeak, doesnt dust (much) - im pretty happy with them.

They do different levels of pads from street use kevlar up to full race ceramic......

Anyway just my .02 worth...

Cheers,

Michael.

Get Ford to machine them again & have them fit a set of QFM's, which you can buy yourself for about $50

I had Bendix ultimate pads on my 4000 series rotors and with a couple of spirited driving seasons they f%ck the rotors. So now I've got Ferrodos and they're great.

Same here.

The ultimates are only rated to 450c.

Your DBA4000 rotors are rated to over 700c.

The only pads I've found close to matching the rotors are ferodo formula's.

They're rated to 650c.

Very dusty.

After a week or so it gives your rims that shadow crome effect. hehe

I don't mind em being dusty, as long as they do the job which they do very well.

Im using the DBA 4000 with the Formula ferodo , recomended by cro and they do work well with good bite , lots of dust though.

I'm using Ferodo Formula with the std rotor.

Great performance, no fade and a sh#tload of dust!
