I would assume that the ram pod would suffure some heat soak when its been idling, so taking off at the lights may be a tade bit more sluggish after the car has been running long enough to build up some under bonnet temp. But on the flip side at speed acceleration would be improved marginally over standard.

Did you also know that most pod filters need to have engineer approval to make sure the intake noise isnt above your states minimum allowable level.
