Very nice :spoton:

l like the white but the problem is it emphasises the disgusting bonnet thing. This car is trying to be euro but then they go and do that, l dont get it.

If l was spending $90k l doubt l would be buyng a Falcon though.

Excellent pictures. It looks great in the white. These cars would have to be one the toughest looking BA falcons around. If I had to complain about anything it would be that for the money, they should all come with the premium luxury upgrade from Ford standard. After seeing the same body kit on an XR6T at the Motor Show in Adelaide I am also concerned about the quality of the body kit integration. This is an area where I think the FPV's have an advantage.

All in all, if I was a 'track' man the DJR would be my weapon of choice.

Bit over priced IMHO

I'm getting 310 kw with only spending $850.00 So, spend another $3,500, would put me in hypnodoc's range (350kw), say $10,000 on brakes and mags, viola!!! better looking car with heaps more grunt for just over $70,000. :spit:

I don't intend on hijacking this thread, perhaps we need to start another thread...but what mods can be made to an XR8 or a GT to gain those extra very sought after KWs???

so, to keep it on topic, what mods has DJR made and what mods can other 8 fans do?

Chris

crisso,

Check the thread '263.9rwkw on the GT' on this topic, hypnodoc lists his mods which is pretty much it at the moment unless you are thinking of supercharging. There are more mods being tested all the time, I have heard of a plenem spacer that is being developed, more efficient extractors, short shifters etc; then there's chip flashing etc;

thanks RH - this was simply an interest, I own a T...but I do miss the sound of an 8, hence why I am always seeking info for the next purchase :spoton:
