Posted 14/05/04 08:22 AM Share Posted 14/05/04 08:22 AM Just picked up my car from Amberley Auto's, its amazingly awesome. The switch is consealed under the dash and has a cover that needs to be lifted to change modes. Its like a trigger switch in a fighter plane. It's appropriate really. The standard tune was slightly altered to give a bit of extra power earlier, its a nice improvemant and the car feels good. It still has 255rwkw's max. When the switch is changed to the performance mode the difference is very noticable. The car doesn't loose traction when launched from 2000rpm but it pulls amazingly hard from off the line and occassionally you can hear the tyres struggling for grip. The tyres win though and manage to hold on. Peak power is 270.4 rwkw's. I will post some graphs soon. I have one with both maps on it and you can see the difference. Here is the differences at 100kmph in 3rd.original tune 172rwkw'snew standard tune 181rwkw'sperformance tune 195rwkw'sI have to go now I'll post more information soon.I'm one very, very happy Geea.Geea. Maybe Lachlan can get in touch with Ian, Rob or Marty from Amberley's and have my tune sent up there. I'm not sure but maybe you could load it on yours and have a play around with it. It might save some dyno time.Geea. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/10732-4th-geea-2704-rwkws/#findComment-122321 Share on other sites
