HAHAHAHAHA no insult taken mate, I was actually thinking about buying a ute, but in the end, I figured a sedan would have better traction, so I stuck to the sedan.Otherwise, id love a ute, they look ABSOLUTELY AWSOME Edited 27/05/04 10:10 PM by XR6ISM Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/10723-look-out-japan/page/3/#findComment-127535 Share on other sites
Damo Donating Members 403 Member For: 21y 7m 3d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 27/05/04 11:11 PM Share Posted 27/05/04 11:11 PM I was in Japan from 26/02 until 09/03 this year. Wasn't lucky enough to be checking out all the car nightlife, but I did travel in quite a few (standard) cars.Did you notice how pretty much EVERY SINGLE CAR has Sat Nav?? I didn't actually find it to be such a clean place. Very neat, but not so clean. There were some awesome cars around. I spent most of my time in Tokyo, but also time in Chiba and Fukuyama. And all those little buzz boxes seem to be turbo equipped!I found the food was sh!t, but just because I prefer my fish cooked. Caught the shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo to Fukuyama. 380km in about 3 1/2 hours!! It was great.Oh and on the plates note, I've seen you around too. Ever noticed a citric acid XR6 (nat atmo) sedan with CITRIC plates? I think I might have flashed you once. What was the reason for the trip, XRSEX? Ever noticed a citric acid XR6 (nat atmo) sedan with CITRIC plates? I think I might have flashed you once. What was the reason for the trip, XRSEX? I was staying in Jiyugaoka which is about 30 min drive to Yokohama. Everyone keeps saying that the food is bad. I am a real fussy person when it comes to food and I reckon it was good. You just have to eat at the right places. Where I was staying and where ever I went it seemed to be spotless. The only thing I didnt do is catch the bullet train. The reason for the trip was to go over and catch up with some people who me and my partners deal with. We are now going to try and go over every 9 to 12 months and keep the good relationship going. At the moment my friends and I are currently importing cars. I used to be a silent partner due to running my own business, (which will always be going) but since my brother has taken a load of my shoulders and looking after my business I can afford to spend some time with importing. I visited a lot of the auctions there and I tell you that it was unbelievable. As for the number plates I think you were on a cruise that I was on a couple of months back. You may have seen me as well since I am in the ute everyday. It is my work ute. I have seen you once around Cronulla but I was in my other car.
