I arrived on the 10th of May and will be returning home on the 20th. Today is the 14th and I already miss my ute. Oh well. It has been an excellent week so far. We have been on the go since we have arrived from 6am starts to 2pm returns. This country is so neat and tidy and everyone is so polite you sometimes think, is this for real. I will tell you one thing there is no shortages on Turbo's. Every where you look there something interesting. I am looking forward to the Hunter valley cruise when I get back. I owe that to the wife since she couldnt come along to Japan due to the ankle biters. Posted 14/05/04 11:11 AM Author Share Posted 14/05/04 11:11 AM I just realised I made a mistake on 6 am starts to 2 pm returns. Its actually 2 am returns and possibly no return tonight as we are going to explore Yokohama/Tokyo for some street racing/drifting action. Drop in to Top Secret while your over there and ask them if they're interested in doing work on the T. Foods sh*t too. The fast trains are fun though Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/10723-look-out-japan/#findComment-122382 Share on other sites

Drop in to Top Secret while your over there and ask them if they're interested in doing work on the T. Actually last night went better than I thought, we found a popular hangout near the outskirts of Yokohama. There was at least 300 cars. There was all sort of cars and vans. Most of the vans/mini vans were decked out with sub woofers and lighting systems. It was like a big dance party. There were people there with hydraulic suspension bouncing their cars up and down off the ground. There were people revving there cars up and also doing big burnouts. It was unbelievable especially when the police station was on the other side of the car park. Then in groups of 4 cars they would exit this car park and go to the other side of this place where you walk up this stairs and look down on to the cars and they would drift up the whole street get to the intersection and drift back down. They kept doing this for at least an hour. Mind you the police were on the other side of this wall. It was one hell of a night and we are going back out there hopefully if all goes well and we get some sleep.
