Some of the prices paid for new XR6T falcons on these forums seem bloody cheap(compared to prices I get quoted)!!!

How can your average joe blo on the street get a good discount a a new T??

Is there a company that you can deal with ,who purchases a lot of vehicles therefore is able to offer better pricing than just going to your ford dealer???

Apart from your "staff discount" if you work for ford there must be a way to get a BETTER DEAL!!!

I also notice all dealers refuse to put a quote on paper!!

Even if you know exactly what you want!(options,specs,colour,etc

All they say is get your best price then come and see us and we will beat it!!

Talk about COMPETITION! :censored::spoton:

Anyone have some thoughts on this matter!!

yeah they will beat it by a hundred bucks?? think of a figure you think is a good price and take it to them.... If they say no go the next one, someone will say yes as long as it is half reasonable.... being close to end of financial year you should be able to get yourself a great deal.......

pauly, go to the ford.com.au web-page quote yourself on what you are after using the RRP then take off about $4000 from that price walk into your dealer tell the sales man/woman exactly what car you want but it is important you do your homework before you walk into the dealer know what car you are after and what price you want to pay, if you waste the dealers time in playing questions and answers you will pay for his/her time you use (time is money) if you are unhappy with the service or the dealer can not come to the party with pricing simply shake there hand thank them for there time and make your way to the next dealer (there is plenty out there who will take your business) remember it cost to be a idiot so do your homework.

I paid 41.500 for my turbo,extras include,18's,tint ,premium sound,alarm,sports steering wheel,premium sound ,mats,scuff plates,yada yaadaa,blah .blah

Sedan or ute ? Fleet discount, staff discount ???? If you are a private buyer with no access to employee or fleet discounts, maybe you'd like to say where you got it from so that other's can also get a good deal and give your dealer some referred business ? :spoton:
