New Grange fully optioned.

(it's commodore-ish)

black with a sunroof :D

the Expensive Daewoo LWB is at least different to the commodore, unlike the BA LWB compared to the falcon

I'm with Plonky the VK group A is excelant but you can't take it antwhere. I was working at Expensive Daewoo When these came out and they were the ducks guts. But ultimately I'd have to go with Saleen 1, A fully optioned WH Grange.

I suppose another big issue with the HDT's is getting them nicked, is that what you were referring to phantom t?

There is one that I'm a big fan of and that is the VK Group A.

As a matter of fact, a smart buyer/collector would always be in front if he was to buy any one of the HDT modified Commodores such as the VC HDT, VH Group Three HDT, VK Group A, VK Group Three or a Walkinshaw.

Thet are truly well built, collectable and desirable cars, whether they are Holdens or not.

If not I would certainly be keen on a black Statesman (not currrent model, the one before, I think it is a 2002) A lot of car for not bad money.

agree, VK Group A, or possibly group 3.

go the VS SS

My old man had one some years ago, and I wish he had kept it for me, yes I know sad aint it. They were a bloody quick car for 165 KW, and they sounded heaps better then this GM GEN 3 crap that they now produce.

If I was buying a holden, id most certainly get a VS SS, Series I or Series II, there were hardly any differences, but a real neat car!

Well I just give up my VT Calais SC in black - was quick with the luxury to boot - this would be my choice - great car and not 1 single prob. The only reason I went to that was the xr s at the time couldn't match the interior of the Fairmont Ghia I was trading. Now I have what I want - best of both worlds and back to ford in 2 weeks and counting.

Group A definately, VL, Forget the VN, my old man bought one and like the typical VN, things didnt fit right. For the money. not good, duel throttle body V8 went though.

My pick would be the CV8-R. They are a majic car and look nice sideways (cough, when its parked diagonally)

Yes that is what I meant Lumpen. Most people that have one don't use it very much as it detracts from the value. A guy I used to work with has a VK group A group 3 with about 60000 K's. Would be worth a fair bit to the right person.

Malvern Star Mountain Bike.

Sorry mate but have no interest in Holden, would look at rice before sullying my blue denims by sitting in one of those things. I'm that bad that if a cab picks me up and it's a Holden, I wave him off until a Ford shows up. :spoton:
