I'll actually be using Castrol SAF-XA when I got mine changed next week. The new formulation you find on the shelves today (remembering this thread is from 2004) is actually 80W-140, not 75W-140 like it was back then.Also, the 80W-140 SAF-XA of today, contains the correct amount if Sturaco already, and DOESN'T require any more to be added. It bills itself as a "Full synthetic Limited Slip Rear Axle Oil" too, so you would think it would keep the LSD functioning.Additionally, on the back of the bottle it states:Recommended for axles of 'Ford - All fuel injected V8's, XR6, XR6 Turbo'Also says it meets the requirement of Ford ESZ-M2C-190A, which is what our handbook says to use.If my diff gets noisy or blows, I'll get a Mal Wood LSD replacement anyway Edit: shpelling Edited 23/09/07 03:47 AM by SavageD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
