thought it might be interesting to see if what my dealer told me is true- they said it was pretty uch normal on all manuals and that ford doesn't recognise it as a problem!! who knows.... ford needs to take responsibility for their mistakes--- I think anyway.

ps. the car is awsome though

What the dealer told you is pretty much the case. They recognise its a problem just as brake shudder is, but the will to spend the $$ and fix it isnt there. Ford have no aspirations to be recognised as a quality car maker. The $$ rules.

BTW you need a third poll option. YES - GOT IT BUT CANT GET IT FIXED.

I've got it... I have not learnt to live with it... its getting worse and I will never learn to live with it.... nothing more annying then people saying learn to live with it....

I don't have a manual but had I got one, I'm guessing that it would have the clunk and I would have ignored it.

I got it in the auto.

No where near as bad as some of the manuals, but still noticable.
