While driving down the highway the complete induction duct poped out of these hoses on me and had me driving the rest of the way home in limp mode trying not to go anywhere dusty. Knowing that its coverd by warranty I still will like to go out and buy them rather than having the hassle driving to the dealer and then have something stuff up.By the looks of it, the hose clamps were over tightned and have split the hoses making them not sit right and worping with the heat from under the bonnet. Your help guys would be great.Fabian ( BATRB-6 )
Guest Guests Posted 12/05/04 12:42 AM Share Posted 12/05/04 12:42 AM I had a play with my turbo piping, took them off so I could put an extra heat shield in,and I must say there aint much holding them in place. My hose clamps were just firm, not tight..when the donk is running I spose the vacume holds it there.vik

You could try BA 9C632 A but im not sure if they will fit. The diameter looked similar in the picture, but I cant guarantee anything!Any Ford dealer should be able to help you out. cqae Member 229 Member For: 21y 3m 18d Posted 14/05/04 02:42 AM Share Posted 14/05/04 02:42 AM just in regards to the post about sikaflexing it in there: be careful if you use adhesives around the engine bay. Any silicone based product(mote than you would think) can damage the O2 sensor. Even the fumes can be harmful, so keep them out of the engine bay, this includes many silastics & adhesive unless marke oxygen sensor safe.
