OK, here is a pic of the Ford H7 inboard high beam.

You can see the extra black plastic ring below the metal base of the globe. This ring is approx 8mm thick.

It is a moulded piece, integral to the plastic body of the globe. It can not be removed.

G'day Trumpy,

Me and my brother replaced my blown RH Inner H7 on Tuesday Night, the black plastic part of the globe as you have pictured is removeable.

My 2002 Astina had precisely the same thing, you need to apply gentle pressure between the metal plate on the globe itself and the black plastic.

Picture coming as soon as I run outside to take it :lol:

Thanks for the tip mate. I will have to take a closer look.

I thought that it may have been, but it all looked like it was moulded together. :spoton:

'
