Hey all

Just wondering what you guys are paying for your leases a week if you dont mind telling. I got quoted 500 a week on 30,000kms/year 36 month lease, Just wondering if that is a ball park figure

.....Sounds High?

Over 25,000k's per year, 36 months, $32,000 residual incl GST, at just under $1,600 per month..... and that's on a car I paid way too much for!

(First one in Tassie, paid deposit 5 months prior to release/delivery= no haggling power!!) :spit:

- and I doubt I got the best lease deal either (Lease Company dictated by employer)

Includes everything - fuel, rego, insurance, service costs, tyres etc.

I also had them budget for extra tyres about 1 set per year at ~$500 per corner (won't last longer than 25,000k's if driven 'properly') and servicing costs (oil and filter every 7,500k's), etc

Do It! -You won't regret it! :spit:

Hi There

I'm currently paying $1145 p/mth over 48 months with an $18,000 balloon. However I'll sell it before then when the value roughly equals the payout it's usually 2.5-3yrs. My company pays for all running costs.

I am paying $320 per week for mine. This gives me fuel, tyres, insurance, rego and maintenance. 24K residual inc. GST. This lease is 3 years, 25,001km so yours should be cheaper.

I suggest getting a quote from SMB (www.smb.com.au). Paul Arthur is the guy there who has been very helpful to me, ask to speak with him.

On Friday Arvo whilst having a beer at work we were discussing Novated Leases and Company KM's whether they were claimable at tax time.

This is a company novated lease BTW ( as opposed to a external company ). Company like all novated leases include lease + running costs.

I have had my turbo on lease for 3 years now and never claimed company KM's. ( Premium Fuel locked @ 80cpl - before tax) :fool:

As technically I pay the running costs albeit before tax should I or shouldnt I be claim it back at Tax time???? Ive done a search on this site as well google and find no reference to company KM's.

Mind you anyone considering a Novated Lease should search this site as there are some very good topics on it with great advice.

Any experts can help?
