I can't remember any other "T's" using any oil. :pinch:

Has it happened before or is this an isolated incident?

Sounds like a fairly isolated incident, nothings perfect. Good to see ford replacing the engine so everything should be chipper after the newbie goes in. Calmly mention a turbo at the time of the install. :spoton:

We have been getting alot of sumps back from dealers that have been pourus, and also sending out alot of valve stem seals for rebuilds, that probably where you have been losing your oil.

I wish I can tell you more about what I see eveyday on how they build these engines, but I can't.

My T had a minor oil issue. By the time I had to do the interim (7500) service the oil level was on add. Then they said "come back in 1,000". Came back and the oil level was perfect. Then at the 15,000 service oil level was on add. They said "it shouldn't loose oil after 15,000. " Went back 1,000 later, level was dead on. Now about 7,000 after that oil level is pretty much perfect ;)

On a side note the Pulsar SSS I had (which my brother now drives) was amazing. It still has the same oil levels and the oil still looked new until about 70,000 km's.

I also drove a SSS before my T. :crybaby:
