But to be honest panel gaps were never a Falcons forte, for that matter an Australian car. If it comes out of the factory like that then I would just live with it. Trust me theres other parts of the car that if one looks closely is not 100% spot on. I always take the theory of if it's not 100% from the factory when it gets repaired it wouldn't look so bad unlike a euro car where it's perfect from teh factory and after repairs it won't go back to 100%.Overall I can say that that teh Falcon has improved over the years. If the guard panel went any longer that would make it very pointed ,sharp. IMO it is meant to be this way. If you draw a line around the bonnet edge across the gap and along the guard, it is a nice smooth arc. Just as Mr Ford designer meant it to be.
