I work on the I.T helpdesk at Ford Credit. I was working full time last year as a programmer but I still have a year to go in my studies which I am doing this year. Then if all goes well I will be back again full time next year and maybe driving and XR6T :) Oh by the way if you need cheap computer parts www.cpl.net.au are normally very competitive.

IT Manager at a growing private company. "Growing" means generally understaffed, so I do everything from project management, to development (SQL/Delphi primarily), to database management, to network administration, to general tech-b**ch duties!

Hey Dags, Ryco hydraulics eh?..And a toolmaker!.. I'm into the engineering side of wool machinery,NOT moccasins, seat covers etc! And with the wool trade in recession, have diversified into general jobbing & production work. We have a machine shop in Laverton Nth.. CNC mills, centre lathes, conventional mills, borers etc & Can NOT find machinists!! In dire need of 2 or 3 "versitile" & KEEN fitter machinists. good pay rate , Overtime etc!... (Hey we might have to call this "jobline" instead of chit chat? lol)

Still not sure exactly what I do...

to start off with - I was travelling all over NSW installing puters.

Then I was onsite doing sys admin for a food company (people from the tickford club will know which company I was at - cos I always had boxes of goodies with me.. hehehe)

then I was at a communications company doing sys admin... then I got transferred to *ick* phone support *ick*, but they compensated for the lack of challenge in the role, buy giving me a nice fat pay rise.

not sure where I am going after this...
