I hope that doesn't happen to me *touch wood*. Look at it this way, you may have saved another motor vehicle driver by killing that fox. You gave that fox a little dignity. Who knows, it could've come into the path of a 4x4..

I just gotten back from Brisbane, mostly night driving and the only animals I saw both ways, were the dead ones!

Just for the record before you claim on insurance, price the damage yourself as it might be cheaper than your premium and rate increase if any.Good luck mate she will be as good as new in no time. Not sure if you would want a couple of speakers hanging off your front bumper though.Trent.

Sorry to hear/see your troubles mate. But don't blame your high beams and DO NOT listen to truckies' tales - they don't have to worry about hitting anything do they???Mate, you've seen all my cars - lights everywhere right? I don't have them there for show. Believe me you can't have enough light at the speeds you and I like to drive.I've hit animals with every single car I've owned - luckily only one (that damn ewe)has rendered the car disabled. Without good lights I'd have hit a lot more and done much more serious damage I reckon. Seeing the animals early has allowed me to slow and swerve - that's my moral to the story anyway for what it's worth.
Adam Here since the start... Lifetime Members 10,282 Member For: 21y 9m 1d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 05/05/04 10:09 AM Share Posted 05/05/04 10:09 AM Cro, I know how you feel. I hit a roo this morning, I didn't even see it. I was rounding a corner and the I could barely see because of the see and then BANG! I got out and prepared myself for the worse All I found was 2 small dints at the bottom of my passenger side door. I rang a mate at the local Toyota dealer because every 2 weeks a guy comes around who removes dints from cars, they said mine won't be a problem, no bog, no respraying and only $55. I fully realise how lucky I was, if the roo had of jumped a split second earlier he would have been inbedded in the front of my ute rather than bouncing off the side.
