Hey guys, while I appreciate the enthusiasm that many people have for there cars and their products on these forums, can we PLEASE leave it at that because I DON'T WANT MY THREAD CLOSED and I think this particular discussion is going nowhere.

Cheers,

Mick

Indeed Mick.... Cosmic winds and all that stuff.... :spoton:

Hi Craig,

My aging muscles are aching at the moment because I have spent the past day and a half chopping wood for the daily ritualistic "burn" in my fire place at home, so I am taking great relish in having a bit of a rest from it all. Hence a bit of a keyboard fishing trip here seems like a good respite.

[...insert sound of fishing reel screaming as line is taken at a great rate...]

Since you're talking about the whole road legal kitten kaboodle you must now factor into the equation the ADR 79/00 continued compliance testing which in the case of Big Mick's car, the cost was borne by APS.

[...insert sound of grunts and groans as the fishing reel is wound in...]

By that rationale, modifications performed on an individual basis require the individual owner to prove continued compliance and submit his vehicle for ADR 79/00 laboratory testing at a cost of thousands of dollars for each attempt to pass.

[...insert sound of a big sloppy kiss smacked fair and square on the lips...]

Even if you're lucky enough to pass on the first go, Big Mick's in front on the cost stakes and has run a quicker 12.1 (Go Mick!).

Plop.... <--- sound of the day's catch being lovingly placed back into the pond, free again to glide effortlessly through the bright and clear ocean waters of XR6T performance.

I trust that you (and indeed everyone here) accept this in the light hearted tone intended and rejoices in the fact that everyone with an XR6T regardless of the modifications is in for a wild ride.

And if you don't....

George,

Please try to understand what the guys are saying.

We all use different products and most us get along well.

We don't need APS to cause division amongst us by constant niggling comments and nonsense, based upon your own commercial interests.

Big Mick is doing just great ... let him promote your products, it's your customers satisfaction that counts, far more than anything you might say.

Brian

Your car's going well Mick....When you racing next????

Mick and myself along with many others are going to Heathcote on the 14th August. We are representing Ford in the Ford vs LS1 day there. It should be a great day.

Scotty

If some engineering time can be freed up there may be a couple of big surprises on the day. Should be a fun day for all.

Will also be a good opportunity to shake hands with Craig.
