Geez Geea, your champing at the bit for the dyno result aren't you?  At least give me a chance to answer your post.. lol.

I have attached it as requested.

Cheers,

Mick

Very nice Mick, you must be rapt. :kissmy:

Looks like a great increase, are you having any traction problems at all?

Geea. :glad:

Thanks Geea & Scotty.

Geea,

No I don't recall any traction problems at all. I think the similarity of yours and my 60' times for the 12 sec runs prove I would have had little as you told me you didn't get much. I now wish I had've done another couple of runs last Friday to find where the limit of traction is. Anyway I'll save that for Heathcote now.

Out of interest I have been reading the times posted by the guys running "real street tyres" on the LS1 forums. Most of these guys are doing 2.0 60' times, therefore I believe we can go quicker given the right conditions by simply improving the 60' times.

I read that you have recently put new rubber on your car and this should help you improve your time.

Cheers,

Mick

I think the alloy chunk of :kissmy: they substitute for an engine would put more weight to the rear & transversly load the back of the car better, due to less weight over front cross member.

He mans just pushing the stick over to the left but not changing it manually.

Once over to the left, you have the first three gears to change through (it's done automatically) and under hard accel the car goes right to (almost) redline through each gear.

No need for 4th on the drag stip.

HUH?? How the !hell! does that work?? If you put the gear stick to the left you gotta change change it manually yeh(isnt that the whole point?)?? otherwise it'll just bounce off the limiter every time!

No it just up & down shifts normally just at higher revs. No need to touch it

Scotty CCC

Obviously my gearbox is knackered!! Mines just bounces until I change it!!

Hustler,

You push it over to the left for Performance Mode and then DO NOT touch it and it will change through (up & down) 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear automatically. But as soon as you change the gears manually (Even just once) It is now in full manual mode.

Hope that makes sense :k24t:

After seeing TBO240 pull a 1.99 60' at Heathcote (admittedly he let some air out of his tyres) and me doing a 2.08 on what everyone else (except the XR6T owners, oh and maybe the owner of an xD panelvan on NOS) said was a slippery track, I'm convinced the 2.0 is there for the taking with 34PSI in the tyres.

Oh, and I should update my latest time from Heathcote:

12.483 @ 114.94 - 60' 2.09

Same deal as previous times, full street trim, factory rubber, tyres fully inflated etc. etc.

Cheers,

Mick

Great stuff Big Mick, that is an excellent time for the APS phase II system on street rubber and at high tyre pressure. :glad:

I am sure this is a better time to be had from your T yet, as the mph you are running (115 mph, which proves the power of the engine) a 12.1 sec pass should be possible with lower tyre pressure. Go big Mick, I know you can do it.

Regards

Peter
