Guest Big Mick Guests Posted 02/05/04 10:46 AM Share Posted 02/05/04 10:46 AM another way at looking at mick also is 267 rwkw (as dynoed) and a 22% drivetrain loss would come to about 343fwkw....got to be happy with that Hi TBO240,Yeah that's a good point if 22% drivetrain loss with an auto is accurate. There seems to be so much debate about this. I told that the shoot 6 software is supposed to go some way to compensating for the ambient temperature, but it would have been interesting to do a dyno run at Calder last Friday Night. For interest the 267rwkw was recorded at an ambient temperature of 27degC!Cheers,Mick
Guest Big Mick Guests Posted 02/05/04 10:49 AM Share Posted 02/05/04 10:49 AM Maybe you've put on 30k's over the easter break, or fuel weightScotty CCC Mmmm, from beers maybe but not eggs, my kids are too fast for me!I'd say definately fuel (half a tank), but I'm not sure what difference things like premium brakes and sound (weight of amp and sub) and leather would make over a standard T either??? Probably minimal but I guess it all adds up.Mick

Mines just bounces until I change it!! When you move it into performance mode, you must not change the gears manually. If you do not change them it will function as a normal auto (only 3 spd and rev far higher). As soon as you change manually you must do so from then on for all gears until you put it back into drive

Start engine2. Traction Control Off3. Select Performance Mode (Not Manual Mode)Performance mode??? Is that just plain Auto or am I mssing something? He mans just pushing the stick over to the left but not changing it manually.Once over to the left, you have the first three gears to change through (it's done automatically) and under hard accel the car goes right to (almost) redline through each gear.No need for 4th on the drag stip. that's why I love this site. I learn so much about my car its not funny. Off for a drive now to tryt it

The operator looked at me weird when I was wearing my helmet Then used this CALCULATOR to give an estimate of the hp required to the 113mph trap speed I recorded the other night.466hp = 347kw ????Obviously the accuracy of the weighbridge is unknown, but it seems pretty close given what Ford claim & my 110+kg.Mickanother way at looking at mick also is 267 rwkw (as dynoed) and a 22% drivetrain loss would come to about 343fwkw....got to be happy with that How do you work out the drivetrain loss? 22% sounds a little weird? How do you lose more power in the drivetrain as you increase power at the flywheel?Eg. T 240kw less 22%= 187.2kw loss of 52.8KwT 330kw less 22%= 257.4kw loss of 72.6KwT 1000kw less 22%=780kw loss of 220kw
