Guest Big Mick Guests Posted 01/05/04 06:18 AM Share Posted 01/05/04 06:18 AM Geea, I'm going to Heathcote in two weeks time so it will be real interesting to see what times I can run up there. As the car is basically just run in, I reckon the new rubber on my car helped, although once it gets a few more k's on the clock it may free up a bit more and run harder. As I mentioned in the original post, I never had any problems with traction launching at 2,000rpm, although as you know launching at even 100rpm higher can change all that.Haven't thought about how I will display the time yet, hey I haven't even got an avitar yet!Mick

I race it EXACTLY as I drive it on the street.Beleive it or not I had half a tank of Optimax based on your recommendation and my wifes need for Flybuys ..lol. I could never get that stuff to work in my Windsor.Cheers,Mick

He mans just pushing the stick over to the left but not changing it manually.Once over to the left, you have the first three gears to change through (it's done automatically) and under hard accel the car goes right to (almost) redline through each gear.No need for 4th on the drag stip.
