Guest frankyd Guests Posted 29/04/04 11:03 PM Share Posted 29/04/04 11:03 PM Hey guys been lurking around here for a while, thought I would get some opnions from the owners of the beasts.Im very seriously looking at getting a turbo, but have been reading that is a possible series 2 in sept, now knowing ford there wont be any major changes, and very unlikey of the inclusion of a 6speed box, but what would you do?We can safely assume there will be no sheet metal changes or major interior or engine upgrades, but would the price jump?So what would guys do, considering it at least 4 months away plus ordering time of the car. Also what options can u guys not live without, im finding it hard to untick sunroof, 18's and sports seats, funds pending.thanx everyoneps other impossible choice is colour leaning towards mercury thou (dont hurt me) Frank

Plus by waiting you might get a great runout deal on series I. I'd kick myself if I buy one now and series II came with a heap of goodies and wasn't a lot more expensive.Saying that whatever you decide you will still end up with a very impressive machine...that's my 2 cents! Guest jteale Guests Posted 30/04/04 02:17 AM Share Posted 30/04/04 02:17 AM Unfortunately waiting will always produce a better result, I ordered the Luxury Pack and that was not available to early purchasers, I considered waiting for BAII but not expecting significant changes (since AU-->BA cost Ford heaps!) and really I am sure they are focused on Territory...I work in IT and next week will be a better PC ... same with cars Good Luck! Guest frankyd Guests Posted 30/04/04 03:34 AM Share Posted 30/04/04 03:34 AM thanx for the reply's guysthe decision is made much harder due to the fact I dont have a car right now, (someone decided they wanted my xr more than me), and im pretty sure I want to order a new one.Utes are pretty much out of the question cause I really need the 5 seats, well it always usefull. And like you all said would be good to see what other goodies you get with the series 2its a tuff decision, but either way im sure ill be happy with itsuppose the grass is always greener...anyone know anything about the BA II yet

They just dont make enough for that to happen... All depends on your situation. You could order now, ask for a Oct build car and gte the BAII just after relase.. Your call..
