I just replace the spring's at 1st "King springs" Ride was ok but the shocks did not like working at a lower height, after a while at high speed the car would bounce all over the place "Stranded shocks are not to be lowered as I was adv by ford tech guys". So I replaced the whole lot with koni sports and king springs and the difference is amazing :w00t2: it worth replacing the whole lot in the end as I have learned. :spoton:

Does anyone else have a problem with bouncing at high speed? I normally would have replaced everything at once as that's what I have done with my other cars, but I want to spend the extra cash on a phase 1.

Hi,

Ive got the low all round and ive had the car to over 200km/hr (in controlled conditions :w00t2: ) and the car is fine.

I've got mine lowered 2 inches all round with kings and I don't have any problems with bounce at any speed. If I plan on running the car at the track then maybe get shocks to reduce lap time but just for the street I'm happy with standard. Having a lowered car does require careful driving when encountering driveways, speed humps etc but don't be afraid it just takes some getting use to.

I got my car lowered at Herrods and since then the suspension has been squeeking a little bit. (Anyone have this problem?)

I took it back to Herrods to heve a look but the suspension decided not to squeek anymore. Then it started to squeek again when I got home. :crybaby:

I have my lowered 1 1/2 inches (pedder springs) on standard shocks, it feels firmer of course but is fine. There is a better, more accurate feel with corners etc

Have not scrapped mine yet.

Can you tell me what model your springs are?

I spoke to my local Pedders man today and he said my car would only drop by 3mm at the front with what they call low coils.
