I thought I was running 40 with my own tyre guage & compressor at home. When I went for my 5k rotation old mate said nice tyres why dont you try 40 instead of 25psi. My guage was out, so now I'm running 45 to compensate which I'm monitoring with my new guage, which I got for my Birthday, thanks Chooky

I totally agree, I run 40 PSI front, and 38 rear.

I find they are the best pressures to keep for handling, and maximum grip on the road.

Maybe I need to up the psi. Feeling every bump as it is now. The tyres seem to be sitting right though. Tread seems to distributed evenly. Minimal wear.

17" stock: 38 front, 36 rear. It does however feel good where it is.

This is measured by a new guage as I misplaced old faithful. It's probably more like 39-40 front, 37-38 rear. Same make, same model, different reading.

40psi in the fronts and 38psi in the rears for mine. Seems about right, not too harsh but way nicer to drive than with the 33psi all around she arrived with

Make sure you go buy one of those digital guages guys and keep it in the glove box. I did.

Trouble is... it's in KPSI or whatever it is. I'm running 240 front and 230 rear. What's that in pounds anyone?

And if I wanted to go the popular 40psi front and 38 rear on my 18's... what's that on my guage?? Anyone know?

You're telling people to buy a guage that you don't even know how to use yourself. Good advice. :spoton:

I had a digital pressure gauge, was at least 8psi out I found out later. Not good on a motorbike....

Invest in a good quality guage, dont skimp. You get what you pay for
