Damm it went excellent. Had to rev the old clevo that hard to beat it I threw a belt off. Beast of a car, I thought to meself as I watched its Red arse whilst I stopped & re-fitted me alternator beltsScotty CCC

I mean even the Falcon Classic is going to get in-car DVD!

Its a tempting alternative to a new GT-P.How expensive is the maintenance on your car? Most parts on the M5 are not interchangeable with other models so you probably have to buy genuine which must be expensive? l can imagine what the brakes would cost to maintain for starters :hiwelcome: Interested to hear you thoughts.Cheers Simon

Also the <2000 models had a few problems with oil leaks and other annoying problems.

And plenty around the $100k mark. After the latest problem with my T3, broken valve spring, I'm about to chuck it and never have anything to do with Ford again. The M5 is a good alternative being roughly the same size, weight, performance, and econony of the T3 albeit at a much higher price. I'm prepared to pay the extra to avoid the stress of issues that are continually detracting from the enjoyment of my T3. I'm not even confident taking it on a long trip now.I won't sell the old Fords though - amazing that I can fully rely on my 26 year old RS2000 or even the older (35 years) Capri GT which I have been using for the last three weeks while the T3 has been off the road.F### you Ford - wake up to yourselves and start building some relaiable cars again!
