Heya,

Curious to know if anybody had issues starting their car when she was still new?

When mine is cold, it seems to take a few attempts to turn over....not sure if I'm being paranoid, and wouldn't know what to check for...Appreciate any input!

Cheers.

You will find that if the car doesn't fire and you let the key go it will be hard to start. Hold the key till it has definately started. If you do happen to let go of the key and the car isn't running turn the key completely off and wait a few seconds before retrying.

This has been my experience, both before and after my mods. :banghead:

No real issues here, turn the key and she's on within 2 seconds.......seems normal

What you could try to to turn ignition on for a few seconds, you will hear the fuel pump and then turn fully to start the engine, this should do the trick.

Same experience as Geea here.

Certain times if you let the key go too early she won't fire. When that happens the next start will fire but for the first few seconds she sounds like a chaffcutter.

I'm pretty sure that there is some sort of ignition protection so you won't do any damage if you hold the key for a bit longer.
