There seem to be a long hinge about half way on the cover which wasnt very noticeable. It looked the goods. Has anyone have any info as to who or where I can get this done. Also has anyone removed the little bungy holders (the little black things which the tonneau clings to) and covered the holes up with something.I have found the bars at HardcoverThey look the goods, I would be interested in the cost.I also noticed on the webpage that they have remote locking on their hardcovers, I would be interested in knowing more about this!! Guest Armageddon Guests Posted 28/05/04 08:26 AM Share Posted 28/05/04 08:26 AM Hardcover and Winghood have come together to make a new hard tonneau that is still full lenght but has been cut and designed around the sports bar. The design was featured in the latest issue of Australian Ute in the Circlework hot stuff section, the photo is of a SS, the system looks great! Only thing is that there is nothing on there website about it! The three-piece unit features a full length waterproof & lockable cover. They only mention them being made for the VU/VY at this stage , will have to keep an eye on there website for more. Had to send it back to the crowd that fitted it 3 or 4 times. Think they just gave up in the end.Similar story with a guy I know with an aftermarket (dealer fitted though) hardcover fitted to VU Maloo, rubbed the paint of in spots too. Ended up buying a genuine HSV one for several thousand $$, problem fixed.
