good choice of colour, I have paint and leather protection on my black T. I think the leather protection is a waste of money, the paint protection seems good to me. It is hard to keep black clean and it attracts the heat, so you don't want fading and you want to not have to polish the car all the time. In my view paint protection is ok and gives you more time to drive the car instead of cleaning it.

Good to see another silhouette on the road, do us proud.

Welcome to Team Silhouette from the founder. If you check my sig I'm pathological about cleaning MissT. :ta: I did not go for the coating as I did not think it would be worth the expense. Get yourself some Meguires products and set about caressing those flanks on a regular basis. Sure its a bas*ard but the looks when she is dressed up and posing are to-die-for. :spoton:

And then the truck pulls out in front of you laden with building rubble..... :pooh: sigh!!!

cheers and welcome to the forum. Some chap called Ken will have a go at you but just ignore him. He bought silver poor sod !!!!

Paint protection is a load of crap.

I had it done to my pulsar, cost me about $700 to put on.

I do a bit of highway driving, and I had loads of bugs imprinted in the thin protective film. No matter how hard you scrubbed, you couldnt get the bastards out, so I had all these black dots on my blue car. Not to mention all the scratches that came from trying to get the bastards out.

So in the end I paid $600 to get the protection buffed out.

That could of been $1300 extra to get me to the SSS model, sh*t happens though, you live and learn.

Now on the turbo I just apply polish once a month, or a wax once every 6 months. Takes 10 mins to polish, piss easy.

might look as good as the day u bought her Ken, but how does it feel? Seriously, I am not having a go here ;) nothing like the smooth texture when a car is just polished, I bet MING and simply washing her doesn't produce this smoothness, or does it?
