I still can't believe that the drivers footrest is not available in the Turbo or V8.

Because it is impossible to get in and out of the car quickly with the seat moved forward so the left foot is flat on the floor (and we don;t have adjustable pedals) the drivers seat has to be moved back so as to get the correct seating position and there is no way the driver can stabilise himself in the car without adopting an uncomfortable position with the left foot.

Is there a foot rest that can be fitted into the car?

BTW I am 183cm tall so it's not as if I'm a bloody pigmy or something.

Thanks

Grant

Unfortunately it was deleted as it was a safety measure.

How So??

Due to the fact that foot rests increase the chance of lower leg injuries in an accident.

Can't say I particularly noticed. There is a bit of a bump where the footrest should go. I guess they just shaped the metal to act as a kind of footrest? :kissmy:

6'5" with shoes on, so I have no trouble reaching it even with the seat a fair way back.

Yer its something Ford should have put in would make the long distance trips just a bit more comfortable and considering it was on the AU it wouldn't have been a huge cost.
