Richdave - Did you ever get the button tones working??

No mate...but then I have been in the US for 2 weeks with another week to go so I have not played with the system at all. I'll try holding the 1st key down abd see if that "wakes" up the ICC.

BTW - great job on the install doc :D

Richdave,

No problems. If I press one button the ICC changes to media and then any other button sound can be heard via the speakers.

I have just been out and purchased a RFIndustries internal arial and will be installed tonight. (onto the Front windscreen!)

Re the document.. I aim to please!! B)

NT Turbo,

No problems. I installed it last night. Much better reception. I will take a few pics tonight and post.

Do you guys want another "How to" document for the install of the arial. :o I ended up removing the "A" pilar cover, and the left side dash cover (in the door jam where the air bag sticker is) to get the arial cable installed correctly.

Again it is a sinch to get the covers off on the BA. Heaps better than the AU... B)

OK guys,

Here is the "How To" document for installing a RFI arial on the windscreen..

Hope it helps.

Here is the URL to RFI's web page. http://www.rfindustries.com.au/

I have used the Quintet arial.

Check My Album for a larger pic of the arial installed. Sorry for the poor colour. It was getting dark..

Dagabond,

No problems. Happy to pull things to bits and take any pics needed.

For my next trick.... I will be installing a Trailer electric breaking system into the "T" Doco to follow if anyone is interested. :o

I have already found a nice clean spot for the dash controller! (under the Tussie holder / in the tissue holder. I had already prewired the Towbar wiring loom before it was installed (by the dealer when the tow bar was fited).. Coming to a web site near you.. (next few weeks.!) :o
