Anyone got any idea where the removing the tissue holder thread is ??

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

OK easy thing to explain right here.

Use hand pressure to lift up the plastic surround around the shifter. LIft the drink holder lid to allow hand in.

Remove the screw on either side of shift to remove the two side panels.

Two screws hold the tissue box holder in. that's it.

whats with the negative bullsh*t fordboy?

didnt your mother ever say "if u dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything at all"

:owned:

no negativity, I've just been waiting for the update on the instruction for ages...

it's a bloody good idea and I'm really want to get it hooked up asap but I don't want to start buying parts etc until it's all worked out...

sorry to offend,

Dave.

also, is it possible to plug an additional device into the STB ie a dvd player??

Or would you better off pluging the dvd player straight into the ICC and then the STB into the dvd player??

Dave.

Not possible with the TEAC and I don't know of many that will let you do it.

Also regarding the update of the instructions, there doesn't seem to be that much demand for it so I didn't bother, and now I have been travelling at least once a week which makes it hard to devote time to it......btw I am writing this from Japan....boy I wish I had my T with me :spoton: .

There is certainly more than enough information in the forum to do the job..

If you need assistance I am sure there are many that are willing to help.

BTW....If anyone want's to devote some time to update the instructions, then I am more than happy to let you utilise my material....

Regards

Good write-up Wayne, only thing I don't agree with is the part about two screws holding the tissue box holder in, I don't remember there being any screws, maybe I am getting old and my memory has gone!

Yep you are getting old. :o

2 vertical screws... :pics:

Don't you hate getting old?

In both of my BAs, on both side of the holder are just clips that you pull forward as shown in your picture.

Talking of picture, how do I go about getting a copy of that manual?? :pics:

Hre you go guys, here are a few photo's that may help you out.

Paul

Ok, first you remove the gearbox surrounding which is easy, just put your fingers underneat the front end, it pops open, then open it from the back end.

Then you will see the two screws in the bottom left and corner and bottom right hand corner, remove those (they hold the side skirting).

Then you will see the 2 screws facing vertically, undo them and then you will be able to remove the tissue box holder.
