Performance cars that arent allowed to perform. :w00t2:

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me :)

Then again for example I think that delaerships are not about to dob you onto the list if you've changed the 'zorst and intake setup ... it makes too much work for them for mods that do nothing much.

As for the excessive wheel spin, well has anyone thought aboutt he actual drive train stress that kind of thing causes? seriously I think they're looking for people who are doing a lot more than just a couple of street meets, or trackdays and have whacked in new 'zorst and intake or similar. They're not the people claiming new diffs, gearboxes and engines... it's the clowns doing mindless circle work at teh rev limiter at B&S's drift days and all that crapola...

Overall though the best thing is they tell you about it, unlike most other makers (Subaru for example).

I got no problem with them not covering any failures directly related to mods done, as long as they pull there finger out and fix the other issuse which are related to manufacturing defects such as brakes , rattles and 5th gear cruch problems.

Apparently that very thing happened with a number of LS1 powered Late model camira owners. :nono:

WRXs are having special 'black boxes' installed that will tell dealers if (engine) mods have been done.

Only a matter of time before Ford do something similar.

My local dealer is a Herrod agent so therefore sell and install modified components from suspension to supechargers as well as fit APS kits sourced through Herrods (at big markup I expect as well) but when I asked them to fit DBA slotted rotors as the standard ones were toast they oohed and ahhhed and said 'we don't modify'. :w00t2:

CV joint (initially miss diagnosed by ford roadside assist ) then subsequently the axle assembly. That said I did not blow it up per se , it sh#t its self.

Damaged parts recovered from dealer by FMCO engineers for inspection.

Parts replaced and Fixed under warranty.
