I thought that having the posts in a thread numbered(as on the other forum) would be a good idea.

I have been trying to keep up with the "what kit" thread and every time I go back to it I have to search through to find where I left it last time. If the posts were numbered I could go straight to post Number X which was the last post when I left.

The only problem I see with what sounds like a great idea is that I've heard a rumor. Those that weren't intelligent enough to order their cars in HgAg also have problems with any numbers over 11. (I'll explain the 11 for the non HgAg amongst you). The non HgAg's always have there hand on it. :gooff:

Hi 100%,

The numbered post option will appear in the next version of forum software 2.0, which should be released shortly. The other forum you mention runs a different forum software called vbulletin. The newest version of Vbulletin has this built into the software.

Version 2.0 of the forum software is in ways similar to the new version of Vbulletin, but in some ways is better..

We hope to implement version 2.0 as soon as it is released.

Kind Regards,

Chris
