Posted 07/03/03 12:22 AM Share Posted 07/03/03 12:22 AM Mondie,Do you find that the phantom colour does not really show up in photos. I've got one myself, and from the photos I've taken, you wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you. Seems to come out blue in some, black in others! I don't think it's my camera, coz the latest issue of MOTOR magazine has a review on a Phantom XR8, and you really can't see the same colour purple in any of their photo's! I know I'm not colour blind, coz I've had the tests done!
Guest Phantom Guests Posted 07/03/03 12:27 AM Share Posted 07/03/03 12:27 AM Unless the light is perfect the true colour doesn't show in photos. Even though the colour looks brightest on a sunny day it will come out better in photos when it is dull.If you look at the photos of my car the only one that captures the colour is an interior shot the shows the paint inside the door. It was an overcast morning and l didnt get the colour very well at all. l have since lashed out on a camera of my own so will try and take some better shots when the suns out, hopefully l can capture the colour a lot better than l did on this attempt. Champion Stuff!!!Hope they turn out well, carefull not to take shots in direct sunlight (noon, best to stick to morn/arvo sunlight), tend to make the colour more like Narooma Blue, don't want that do we :D B)
