:hitit:

Does anybody know where I can purchase an EXACT REPLICA of a GT-P rear wing to bolt onto a XR6T ???? I live on the gold coast , qld!! I have tried to find one on the gold coast but with no luck!! Maybe melbourne or sydney have them??

If anyone knows please give me a website or phone number!!

1.does this wing fit the holes where the original XR6T wing fits?(except the centre support leg of course !! I would have to drill these!!

2.does the GT-P rear wing have a brake light in it ??

If so, does the replica come fitted with one ??

any info appreciated!!!

Thanks for the referral to the site Miyagi. Much appreciated.

I've actually just (yesterday) replaced that wing with a new one that mimics the original SMS display cars - minus the centre leg.

AWC can do you the wing either with or without the centre leg - which ever you'd prefer.

They're also around $900 cheaper than the genuine FPV wing!

:smilielol: Cool any more pics side of car, rear. Does it look to big for the flair kit?

Apologies for the grainy quality of this pic - I'm not really sure why it's gone this way compared to how they normally come out.

This is the closest to a full rear view I have.

Not sure quite what you mean by "is it too big for the flair kit" - makes me automatically think SLR5000 when I hear the word flare (showing my age there) - but I think it intergrates well with the rest of the XR if that's what you mean.

Going back to the Motor Show version of the wing gives it that look the Ford designers originally intended, and has - I feel - made the wing actually look taller.

jep - This is NOT an Bogan special product. It's made by AWC (which is basically the carbon fibre division of Fibresports at Taren Point).

To each his own, but I wouldn't touch Bogan special with a ten foot pole.

jr your prob right about not going near Bogan special , because the local ford dealer (panel shop also) used Bogan special products years ago, and when I asked about them a little while ago, the spare parts manager (also the panel shop "foreman") told me that they stopped using thier products because of some (and I say some) were of poor quality

but reson why I posted it here is becuse its the place I visit to see what a bodykit would look on a certain kind of car (you must admit, they have a very big rangei must say I havent actually seen a car in person with a kit that came from Bogan special , so there isnt anything I can say about them really, good or bad...

JR, did you colour the indent around the bumper? (where the chrome pinstriping goes on the ghias)

Yes,

I have a dark metallic grey pinstipe in the car bumpers.

Cost $6 a roll from supercheap auto while we were down in Melbourne for the FPV weekend.

Came up looking a million bucks considering we were half drunk when I layed it into the bumpers.

Also, it matches better with the carbon than a chrome stripe would.
