that's cheap, considering that if u got them brand new through FoMoCo it would be about $12g for the motor and another $5g for the tranny...

ill bet that price goes up pretty fast

The B.I.N. price isnt too bad at $7500.

Problem is that its out of the car so without being able to drive it, how could you really be sure what you were getting yourself into?

Looking at teh guys other auctions I'd say it's a Wrecker selling some of his more interesting items via ebay. Sure beats waiting for someeone to ring wanting a T motor ;)

I know someone who 'needs' to install this into an old Volvo 142 .....

Well with ECU and loom intact it's pretty much a turn-key effort ... it'll make any car that can be engineered with a 4.0T motor in it a very easy mod to do. Cortina, 200 series Ovlov (or 100 series), Older Fairlanes etc etc ... I'd even say what about the big long nose on those Mazda RX5s :)
