I have the APS zorst and though it sounds meatier than stock at idle it is not loud like some of the ricer set ups. Sounds great particularly when the cat is under load, also a very pleasing burble when backing off

Hope this helps

Whitee how is the exhaust during long distances is it loud and droney or same as original + a little louder? Do allot of long distance driving couple of my mates cars that are auto in their effort to get louder cars remove resonators and such all you can hear is you ears ringing after some distance. Auto's tend to drone, with some exhaust sound good around town and a killer on your ears on long trips.

I love the deep sound of my latest exhaust .... 4" high flow cat, huge single 4" pipe and large dual straight through mufflers ... dual exhaust looks mean and no drone on the freeway at 2200 revs.

Hey guys the sound clip of the APS full turbo back exhaust system is now on the APS website at. I hope you enjoy the symphony, it is music for our ears.

It's at http://www.aps-xr6t.com/falcon/exhaust/exhaust.htm and linked from the exhaust tips picture.

Let me know what you think of the exhaust note, the microphone was approx 60 cm away from the exhaust tips.

Mate , also do a bit of highway stuff and am pleased to say that at 100ks the exhaust is just a smidgin louder than stock , with absolutely no drone whatsoever

Ive done 15k without the centre muff now and I reckon its starting to drone now.

Noticed when I had 4 people in the car, normally its just me and SWMBO in it.

They were all adults,so180 kilos extra to lugg around made the donk work a bit more

Someone said your muffs get louder with age? maby that's it,now that the rear muff is louder it drones under more load.

I must try it at 110 on the freeway again, before there was no noise what so ever,I did mine with flanges so the centre muff can go back in if it gets any louder.

Hi All

Thanks for all replies, I am appreciated for all the post and suggestions. I will take them.

To Peter from APS good jobs for all the magazine articals, They have inspired me to save up now. I think I will give a visit with C&V soon, yes I am at eastern side of syd. but I dont mind to go down to Mel to have a look the REAl factory.

Just done my 3000km service, the mechanics told me to just change the exhuast system is better for the new car like mine, due to evry thing is brand new. but some other postd I read b4, they said it would be better if modification is done as earily as u can. .... no ideas here

So far I have been thinking is the exhuast....

I want decent soundsssssssss

very kind regards

Stevo, Thanks for those kind words, I assume you're referring to the latest article in the Motor tuning special, it was lots of fun and we are now planning on going 330kph in the next shootout.

We have some excellent tuning people in Sydney who can assist you with the APS full turbo back exhaust system, or you are most welcome to visit APS in Melbourne in you feel like a blast down the Hume Highway (it only takes about 9 hours to our doors).

You wont be disappointed in the APS exhaust sound, at full throttle it's similar to a 737 jet!
