Any one but me think this might be Tuna????????? :ermm:

LOL

Me Tuna

Mate I'm not that ugly.

On the LS1 forum I am PDV666. I think Tuna will have a wobbly when he reads this.

Don't take Tuna the wrong way, he just organised the biggest & best LS1 gathering in history.

I think he would love nothing more than to do the same thing with Holden & Ford.

In my honest opinion the BA is a nicer looking car than a VY, but I do prefer the LS1 engine.

You were going along real nicely till this bit, when I choked on my Bundy. Prefer LS1, crumbs cheif!!!

I'll agree that the LS1 is easily modded but the level of refinement of the I6T engine is far superior.

There are good and bad points to both brands, and it is a no win discussion trying to prove who is better. My passion for V8's means that I am correct and the same applies to you.

I love V8's, that my personal choice. I love the sound & feel. I know I can get blown away by most 2 litre turbo ricers, but I dont care.

What I like more is to have some friendly competition at the track.

Preferably racing a Ford rather than a Expensive Daewoo or a shopping trolley.

I hope we can get a decent turn out from this post, I know that the LS1 guys would jump at the opportunity to have a few runs followed by a few beers.

Now that you mention beers, ill be there!

Might try and bring along the XC to this one, just for a demo run. Ive always said I will never drag race it, and I never will.

May might be a tad early though. :ermm:

Set the date and I'll definitely come out and say g'day.

Not that interested in giving my car a run at the drags, but will come out and park the peepers from the sidelines and have a chat.

Ok I suggest that we try and get this up and running on the Saturday 22nd of May.

Check out some info Here

I am sure that I can match the number of Holdens with the number of Fords.

If you have never been down the strip before this may be a chance to try it out, there is nothing to loose. We will run through everything so we all will know what to do. Tips here

IMPORTANT

You need to bring ALL of the following on the day

$45.00

Your original Rego papers (if you have a company car a letter giving permission, even if you are self employed and it is you car)

Drivers licence

Helmet

long pants and shirt, closed shoes.

A big grin

If you forget anything they wont let you run.

I am really looking forward to this. after we can go to the Eastern creek pub (the pitstop) for a lager and some tall tails.

I am too champ, I really miss the whine of the blower. :o

22nd of May might be too early :msm: I want to have all the bugs ironed out of the fuel injection system, and the car running perfectly before I register it.

It wont happen overnight, but it will happen. And everyone will know about it when it does! :o
