You are entitled to your opinion. You werent such a man when the challenge was up. :wtf:

He makes a fair point Geeseman.

Good luck tomorrow guys.

Remember for those with autos:

- TC off

- shift to performance mode (don't worry about manual shifting)

- don't worry about shredding your tyres on the water. Just a short burst.

- stage to about 2,000 rpm

- go when your ready!

- hang on and smile

- Oh and don't forget to brake when you cross the traps

It's all about the start.

Cheers,

Mick

Excelent advice!

Big Mick, maybe we could organise to do this in Vic shortly.

I will come down for it, we have a lot of Victorian LS1 drivers who would be very interested.

Only 2 hours to go.

Check THIS thread out.

Maybe you could get a few more of your Mexican LS1 buddies interested.

Your keen driving from Sydney to Melb to race your car for one night!

What a day!! Fantastic!

Thanks 6six6

14.888 was the best for me :Welcome2FordXR6t: . I think I should have stalled it up, run with less fuel, removed the spare tyre and skipped breakfast this morning

AWESOME DAY,

Dad actually did run the car and got a 14.1 on second run. Which is good considering the car was of of gear wheel, jack, camera gear, gps...etc....tires were also normal street pressures. Good to see so many xr6t turn up even better to see a fair few matchs up between Expensive Daewoo and ford. :gooff:
