What's your take on the folowing scenario..............

You're driving along at the speed limit, minding your own business when another motorist( be it a wannabe or a genuine contender ) makes an obvious challenge to your motoring manhood ( if you know what I mean? ).

With all the speed cameras around these days and the associated fines, do you you GO or let it go?

Remember, all it takes these days is a few seconds of WOT, and if your busted, its good-bye license.

The reason I ask is that I find myself in this exact situation almost every day. Obviously, I choose to let it go. :yellowangel:

Once on the Freeway a challenge was put to me and l noticed a radar detector l planted it and then backed off straight away.....he went for it and got pulled over down the road...l drove passed and gave him the bird

On most occations I don't. I usually go to the limit or 10-20km/h past and that's it. Don't want to risk the chance of loosing my privelages of driving this T ;). But, I have done it a few times though. Once with an R33 Skyline GTR beside me. He gunned it, I decided to aswell but he easily pulled away. Real eye opener there ;)

lol

Gave it a squirt and im happy to report that my Phantom Turbo Baby kept its nose about a quarter of a car in front untill the other bloke backed off............. im in love :)

I had a run with a BA XR8 late last week with the same result as yours, XR6ISM.

I have to admit that the XR8 sounds better and his wheelspin when changing gears sounded good too...

funny how no one mentioned accidents at all. I went to one the other day when one lost it into the other. I was showing him bits of bone from his leg that I was picking up off the road. The bone marrow was a lovely colour.

Not preaching guys but food for thought for ya

the only time I have been challenged is buy 17 year old's in crappy little 1.3L turbo imports, or silvias. All the worthy contenders in my area are driven by people who are well past trying to prove how big there balls are and just enjoy a good drive.

Although I do love dragging them at the track and beating them just after they tell you how much they spent on there motor.
