Well, my ute was supposed to arrive at the dealer on the 19th of this month. Well, bugger me, it didn't. Surprise surprise.

Now, my situation is I ordered it through my home town dealer, here on the South Coast, NSW. I'm currently on leave and will be driving the 2000+ km's back to Townsville on the 27th. The plan was the car would be delivered to me, ready to go, and all would be sweet. <_<

Got an updated date for delivery to dealer for the 28th. I'd have to leave without my ute, and arrange to get it up to TSV somehow. Big hassle. Blah blah blah.

Spoke to my dealer today and he tells me they may have delivery now on the 25th. So, here's hoping, I may just get it.

Saw my "Box o' Bits" today too. Sports bar, Mats etc etc all sitting ready to be thrown on straight away. :D

Also, my wheels arrived today. Enkei RPO2s. 17x8 for the front, 17x9 for the rear. Damn they is sexy.

I've been waiting for this damn ute for 3 yrs. Someone pass me some luck for crying out loud!! ;)

Another Queenslander stuck in NSW! Here's hoping you get it on time ready to run in during the trip. Say hi to Pricey when you get there.

Hey EXARESIX,

if you do drive it all the way home, definately allow your rev range to vary quite a bit. Don't just sit on 110 or I have heard it can damage the running in process. Allow your speed to cary from 80 - :D so that the block and pistons are bedded in OK...

Just a thought, good luck.

Already taken this into consideration. You're spot on.

Best way to run an engine it. Couple of thousand kays in one hit. Keep the engine at a constant temp. Vary the revs.

Nothing better ;)

My dealer now tells me that Queensland cars are now being SHIPPED!!

Mine was due 13th Feb but now the boat arrives Monday and I should get mine about Thursday

I sold my car based on arrival 13th and have been renting one since...an expensive exercise

But dead set...Ford put our cars on a ship from Melbourne...cheaper...but OH so much slower!!
