Hard work holding on to the farker riding it quick in rocky terrain and you cant put your feet down like on a 2 wheeler whats the 450EXC like? Ive had a soft spot for the 300. Breeny Member 88 Member For: 12y 4d Gender: Male Location: Adelaide Posted 25/07/16 09:17 AM Share Posted 25/07/16 09:17 AM Cheers BA - yeah pretty much that would be the shopping list - but def brakes before tune. Gotta pull all that fun up somehow... Rode a Yamaha Banshee once - could NOT control that thing so much insane power. Owned a '98 300EXC then '00 400EXC then the '08 450. 450 def the best by far but, the 300....crazy good fun. I'm sure the newer models are much better than mine. Could never get a decent launch from it, possibly jetting or power valve issues but it didn't matter much cuz once you got going everything just fell behind you. In terms of general all round excellent bike though - the 450 anytime.
Guest Guests Posted 25/07/16 11:08 AM Share Posted 25/07/16 11:08 AM hahaha and guess what my other bike is? got to love a 2banga. Im guessing your 450 was efi or was it still a carb? my white zook is efi compared to the banshee so 2 complete different riding styles. can cruise on the zook but the banshee your flat stick but the frame/suspension is 80s tech so they can buck you off in a heart beat if your not careful. Much like driving a turbo car. useless off the pipe but once your on it lol
