hi ute-sters,

great if you could post here with your general location and any details of your mods (if you want) and maybe a wish list of modifications for the utes

gathering info for two door coupes with big boots of the AU-BA XR6-XRT-XR8 variety .... maybe we can get our heads together on our wish lists

thanks guys .... :spoton:

this section of the forum needs our energy :spoton:

My mate recently took delivery of his black XR8 ute, it visited herrods first for stainless exhaust and has some lovely 19" rims on it and lowered nicely. I will post some pics of it. Cold air ind. etc.

This thing is lovely and sounds beautiful, will get back to you.

In Adelaide, stocky Blueprint BA XR6T with hard tonneau at the moment.

Awaiting a suitable solution to drivetrain mods (re auto) before ordering either a Phase 2/3 APS or maybe a stage 2 Nizpro. Either way, chasing mid 12's on street tyres. Biggest current hassle appears to be trans limitation.

Would really love to have remote hard cover release. Using keys to lock/unlock two locks on the rear is archaic for a 21st century vehicle!

I'm surprised there is NOT an aftermarket supplier of a kit yet.

Brakes will need upgrading too.

That should keep me happy for a while. :spit:

Townsville - Far North Qld here ...

Blood Orange with hard cover, 18" rims, GFB Stealth FX bov and Guageworks boost guage.

Nice Eclipse Stereo and APS Phase II in about 2 weeks (kit is sitting in the mechanics shed as we speak). Brakes to be upgraded shortly after that. Not real worried about things breaking ... these things are built pretty tough and the little straight line hard work it may do on the street should be easily in its bounds :) Not about to lower it with the gutters and bumps around town!!

Would love the remote lock for the cover and a nicer finish to the HD Towbar in the back skirt. *grumble*

Other than that love it every day!

Good to see all the utes on here!

Cheers,

B.

Exaresix? Where are you ?? <- Another damn hot ute running around town :)
