Have to let SWMBO use it as a shopping trolley occasionally but, so far so good, no damage caused. She's usually real careful with it  Other than that, no one else gets a steer.

My parents can drive it if they like...we live on a farm so theres nothing they can hit :w00t2:

I let my sister drive it into Loxton on the weekend to show off to all her friends...she had em all convinced it was her car...was teh funniest thing..they were all like sooo jealous!!!

Mum drove it the first time and the turbo kicked in and the went "oooo"....it didnt scare her very much cause she did it again and again.

My brother can drive it when he likes. I couple of years ago him and one of his mates wrote off my EFII GLi being ****heads (they were VERY lucky), so he knows now that if he damages vehicle, heads roll.

Other than that, I had no qualms about throwing the keys to my ex when that was still on, my parents and a the list of mates I would let drive it was longer than the list who couldn't.

Like someone else said, its only a car! (just the best car for the money anywhere in the world)

There is no way I would let anyone drive my XR Turbo, or my Royal Star XVZ13A.

These are my toys.

A friend of mine has told me there are people out there looking for Bottom Grills for their XR. Well I have got onto somone who can make them from Stailess Steel. I will be taking a pic soon and put it onto the system. If interested feel free to send me a note. I will get back to those who want to know more.

Thanks.

Dirk.

to me its just a car! although I am picky with who drives it! the XR was recently used in a wedding and that was hard cause I supplied a fairlane for the wedding too and as I was in the wedding party as well, I was unable to drive either car! All drivers were given instructions before being given the keys haha! a few mates have driven my cars but I usually pick the people who have at least as good a car and who know how I like to keep it!

depends on who and the circumstances. ie. WhiteTee is over the limit SWMBO may then drive under supervision. Other T owners of course qualify if they are over 30, sorry to you young'uns insurance company made me do it. :smilielol:

Mate Im 24 own a auto T sedan and after 2 months you still cant get the smile off my face. And insurance well I nearly fell over over at how cheap it is I had a laser before hand and now the T costs me less than $100 a year more Im rapt
