On the way home I raced a v8 calais (driving a rapid GT with black stripes gets their attention) and when I snapped second it jumped half a meter to the left and laid black lines! (its edited - 286rwkw) Her dad loves it when I tell him, he's more of a hoon than I am! Oh, and before anyone comments on a GT's ability to break traction in 2nd, the car wears 20's with cheap ling long tyres, not the best for grip at the best of times! She wasn't to impressed when I told her what the smell in her car was from. Hehe Edited 29/03/08 12:35 AM by XRTPSI

It left with 95% tread and came back with the insides at about 50%. The IRS bogged the rears in. I did 3 massive patches within about 700m, and he didn't have a clue coz it didn't even tick over 1km. The tyres still lasted quite a while, and I remember him telling me how he stumbled across the rears on the canvas about a year later lol

Did the whole street gutter to gutter playing on the brake. Would've been about a 400 metre burnout (long street) before I was off the brake, and had palmed it into 3rd gear. He never drove the car in his life and was driving it a 10/10ths on his first lap, safe to say he ended up on the grass, crap all under the car. Same guy borrowed another mates GEN3 SS, this time on the street, first drive he ended up through someones fence. I wont let him drive it the T, noway. However, Our T's are very drivable, they make similar if not more power to the old big muscle cars with noise, bonnet scoops and very bad manners etc etc. But Drive them off boost and they are very well mannered. Your granny could drive it, sudden jerks of throttle wont send them sideways (turbo lag).My Mrs drives mine all the time, very sensibly. It definately comes down to who you let drive it..
