Speaking of which, my ex borrowed the car and returned it with some nasty scatches down the side (looks like someone dragged a pushbike past it), Oh well, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later.

Nah,

Sooner or later some tosser is going to damage your T, You don't want it to happen, you don't like it when it happens, but it's going to happen........

I only let family members drive my Xr6T Citric Acid....easier to have arguments with them if something gets broken!! Thankfully no damages yet after 18 months and this includes driving by leader of the opposition plus a P plater(green) and now a learner. Although I must say the L had to start with the paddock basher then spend a long time in the 4wd before allowed in the T and then only under very close scrutiny. But hell- I dreamt of having a car like this as a pimply teenager so I reckon they should experience the fun of it too and hopefully will become Ford converts.

Only let my close mates or family drive it around the block to see how she goes, but I always leave TC turned on and they aren't the kind of people to go psycho, and they respect the car. Otherwise only I drive it!

depends on who and the circumstances. ie. WhiteTee is over the limit SWMBO may then drive under supervision. Other trusted T owners of course qualify if they are over 30, sorry to you young'uns insurance company made me do it. ermm.gif

2 cars and 3.5 years later nothing has changed , other than the power levels.
