Thanks for the photos Richdave.

I got the shock of my life when I saw the Phantom XR8 at the motorshow because it was so purple but have since realised it was because of the spotlights. In some of those photos it looks completely blue.

DZ is onto me bagging Phantom, I wanted the only one on the road but it seems like everyone is onto it now.

There also seems to be a lot of us given 16th November as the date for delivery. Maybe they are doing a batch?

Glad you like the pics, The colour does vary quite a lot depending on the light, from deep blue to a bright noticable purple. B)

Yes, the pics are good, best I've seen so far.

Seeing it with your own eyes is the only way to appreciate the colour, the best camera in the world would not do Phantom Purple justice!!!!!!!!!

Sunlight brings out the brilliance of the rich metallic purple, night time, hmmmm. I'm glad my wife insisted in going for the Phantom now, was going to go for Blueprint or Narooma Blue.

Back to the differences between stock models.

XR-6 T has rear power windows, "T U R B O" written on the back, LSD and that's about it. Oh yeah, and the turbo......lol

So true, I didnt believe I'd want a *purple* car until the guys at Ethridge rolled it out of the showroom into the daylight :D I agree, the camera doesn't do it justice.

No, but when I've gone looking at cars a few people have asked me if I wanted a job as one :D

If it paid better than my current job and involved less hours, I'd probably consider it!

Saw a Phantom XR6 running out of Car Lover's today - if I wasn't in the queue to get my car washed I would have gone after it for a closer look! It's definitely more purple than the pictures would make you believe - but it's very much a "Hey, look at me" colour rather than a "Ewww! What the hell is that colour?" Very classy and suits the car well.

Yeah have to agree. Today I snapped a Phantom Ute in full daylight, the pics are more blue than the actual car is. I tried tampering with the colour balance but decieded against it. They should be posted soon for all to see
