Mmmm yes I see your point there. But I don't know whether you could get that much torque increase with just some intake mods and only that smaller boost increase. Could be true though.

With the F6 using the standard injectors it wouldn't be able to run more than about 8psi. Maybe peter could explain how they could get the extra 100nm torque with only 3okw extra.

Simply by cutting boost above 4,000rpm. There will be a max of about 8.5 psi up to 4,000 rpm and then it will be cut by the ECU to about 3.5 to 4psi thereafter, thus limiting torque and therefore the power achieved. If the 8.5 psi was left to run all the way to the max power point of around 5,250 rpm you would probably realise well over 300kw - I'm too lazy to do the maths right now but it is easy enough to work out for those with the time on their hands.

PS having a six with well over 300kw would severly embarass the V8 brigade hence the artificial power output of the F6.
