    OK so I just rang Ford spare parts and they want $1990 for the V8 bonnet - unpainted and unfitted... I've seen the after market version (~$400) on egay and carbon fibre ones ($1200) from http://www.awcinfo.com/secureshop/category.php?cat_id=294... Which option is best: 1. pay the extra and get real Ford bonnet knowing there will be no issues with gaps or fitment (approx $2500 painted and fitted) 2. buy a steel after market one off ebay and hope it fits properly with no dodgy gaps (approx $1000 painted and fitted) 3. buy carbon fibre from awcinfo and shed a few pounds in the process (approx $1700 fitted and painted) I don't want to go anywhere near fibreglass. Advice appreciated.
