Hi Gang, Long time lurker, first time poster. Been re-searching higher stall converters for the BTR in my BA mk2 in the hunt for better 1/4 mile times. I've had a poke around but can't seem to find a direct answer. If I install say, a 2800 converter, will the car go into limp mode? Will it need to the ECU re-flashed? Anything else to look out for? Also, it's soon to be running 300rwkw, with the usual upgrades. With a 275 drag radial, will that get it into the 11's (with practice) do we think? Thanks for your help!

Hi All, Happy New Year to you's, Let's hope it's a great one for everyone. Now this is my first topic post for the new design Super Charged BTW Torque Converter. Karl late last year started a post to share his delight for the extra performance he experanced and proved on the track by lifting his 60 foot time by a 10th of a second to 1.66 and 1/4 mile time to 11.37. The main things I have experianced with the Super Charged Torque Converter is the torque is highest from low revs , it has totally reversed the torque curve on the dyno readout . This leads to economy gains especally around town, and when you put your foot into it it instantly kicks down and launches. or propells great from a standing start, a real delight to drive. 3 years of full time R&D have been put into this style converter to work out the best design that I am now offering to you so you can experiance the benefits. Terms of trade have been revised to include 12 month warranty and a 100% money back Satisfaction Guarantee! if you choose to return the Super Charged Torque Converter (that I doubt you will as you will love it!) I have not yet been given Karl's dyno comparision chart so here I post the origional dyno result comparision done with a totally stock 98 EL Falcon As you can see there is an extra 26kw at the start of the dyno run in 3rd and a higher top end speed with extra kw in the top end to. in 2nd gear it is also all over it , an interesting point is at the decelleration point in 2nd gear that shows rather than dropping off fast it coasts along a bit , this effect adds to the economy side of things. I will do my best to answer your questions and Thank for joining the thread Chris. VStrong torque converters.
